UFC is coming back to Salt Lake City on August 20th, 2022, and the headliners are UFC’s Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman and no.2 ranked Welterweight in the world, Leon Edwards.

The Vivint Arena will host the UFC’s sixth PPV of the year and the long-awaited rematch between Usman (20-1) and Edwards (19-3-1). “The Nigerian Nightmare” has been dominating the division for a long time, with his most recent win against Jorge Masvidal coming by way of knockout.

While the first fight was won by Usman back in 2015, this time he will face a much more improved Leon “Rocky” Edwards who beat Nate Diaz back in June 2021.

This is the only confirmed fight for UFC 278, with Paulo Costa vs Luke Rockhold, and Sean Woodson vs Luis Saldana yet to be confirmed.
