Khamzat Chimaev (11-0), an undefeated UFC welterweight, has taken to Twitter to express his wishes for the next two opponents. “Borz” aims at Nate Diaz and Belal Muhammad for August and October this year.

There are no official agreements for either of these bouts, but Chimaev’s long wish is to fight Nate Diaz.

Khamzat Chimaev (29) is no stranger to call-outs on social media, as he regularly calls out many fighters including Colby Covington, Kamaru Usman, and others.

His rise to the no.3 rank in the welterweight division is one of the fastest in recent memory, with his last win being over no.2 ranked Gilbert Burns, his toughest match to date.

Belal Muhammad’s last match is also a win. Muhammad won against Vicente Luque on April 16th, 2022 by UD, and is currently ranked no.5.

On the other hand, Nate Diaz hasn’t fought in almost a year and is coming off a loss at UFC 263 to Leon “Rocky” Edwards. Dana White, the president of the UFC has said that this potential fight is an interesting one, but Diaz is more and more frustrated with the promotion, and as it appears, he is looking to end his contract.

UFC has an October date for the potential matchup with Belal Muhammad in Abu Dhabi on October 22nd.
