I hate it when body builders think they can fight just because they’re strong. No offence to all you body builders out there but it just bugs me because they can hardly stay still most of the time because they’re pumped so full of testosterone and red bull 24/7.
Nice! I ended a fight the same way years ago, fighting a guy 224. I was only 124 @ the time. He was just big & clumsy. Strong but not form or technique. Size & power isn;t all there is & this proves it! Thanks for sharing…
I was front row and watched this meat head get his ass kicked… It was forever ago but it seems like yesterday wow… I remember after this fight Professor Sauer hung that GI up in the gym HAHA he made a point that all the blood was from Mr. Utah.
GJJ FOR LIFE!!
@deadguy29 he was great then too. His BJJ is just like Ricksons – once you are on the ground you stay there; no ref to pull you up. Take your time – one move – finishes the opponent. It was more like street app back then but he still chokes out some of the best.
@Bzdi138 I’ll definitely look it up, and I agree that BJJ practitioners usually take their time to finish opponents…but in this video Seur doesn’t look good. I guess he has improved a lot since…
@deadguy29 yes the striking is horrible that’s a given. Keep in mind that this was a long time ago. Pedro Saur is Rickson’s number one student and has the some of the best BJJ I have ever seen in my life. Royce didn’t always finish his opponents right away either and some of his opponents were less of a fighter than this roid guy. Look up Pedro Sauer; he’s amazing
@Bzdi138 You’re right, I don’t know who Pedro Seur is, all I can see in this video is that he’s fighting a muscle-bound dwarf and he’s having a hell of a trouble finishing his opponent. And yes, his striking is abysmal and his grappling (at least in this video) looks below average…
Ugly fight between a midget bodybuilder (how the hell is he listed as weighting 250pounds?) and a BJJ guy with horrible, horrible stand up skills and mediocre grappling…

I agree with Raphinater, anyways a fight is a fight whether you’re on the ground or standing up.

@LJITLOML Uh, 100lbs of muscle does make a slight difference in a fight.
