Although Fedor admits the triangle is what he actually tapped to. ### ### 5/4/2010 NEWS UPDATE: After months of anticipation, Fedor “The Last Emperor” Emelianenko (31-1), will make his eagerly awaited return to the cage to face two-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world champion Fabricio “Vai Cavalo” Werdum (13-4) in a STRIKEFORCE and M-1 GLOBAL co-promoted event at HP Pavilion in San Jose, California on Saturday, June 26. ### January 27, 2010: Two-time ADCC Champ and Strikeforce Heavyweight, Fabricio Werdum, wants to get the next shot at the number one MMA fighter in the world, Fedor Emelianenko. Werdum told Karyn Bryant of MMA HEAT that although the fight is not yet confirmed, he is preparing every day for what could be the biggest fight of his career. Werdum sees holes in Fedor’s game, and he believes he can beat him. Karyn caught up with Fabricio Werdum, his coach, Rafael Cordeiro, and Wanderlei Silva as they worked out at the Affliction Training Center. Não entendi o motivo da crítica a Karyn. Você tem um sotaque horrível e fala enrolado… não tem entonação o que torna as palavras confusas ( um misto de paulista fano). Ops, e pelo lixo que vc estava comendo, imaginei que vc estivesse nos EUA ( pago pelos pais).

Those who say Fedor gave up just to make a comeback victory on a rematch are trolling. It would be one million times better to Fedor if he had won this one and then defeated Overeem, it would attract both more money and audiance. (and he would be the invincible forever).
Fortunately it was Werdum and not Overeem the one to beat Fedor. Werdum is way more humble.

yeah so many things are at work here.. Fedor wants the UFC off his back REAL BAD. Fedor doesn’t want any part of the UFC. Dana White the scumbag just cost Fedor a 7 figure contract with Tapout. It may come down to money and Fedor wanting to FREE himself from the burden of being undefeated, chased after, and invincible!! I mean come on, we actually have people debating online whether Fedor is a robot or not… I’m not BUYING any of this! Not for a minute!!
