WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain (Exciting Pro Wrestling 5 in Japan) is a professional wrestling video game released on the PlayStation 2 console by THQ and developed by YUKE’s Future Media Creators. It is part of the WWE SmackDown video game series based on the professional wrestling promotion World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). This game was the sequel to WWE SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth and was succeeded by WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw.

I have a question when I buy movesets from the shopzone how does they appear in create a moveset? In Here Comes the Pain Because I bought Moveset 1 and The Moves are not in there what do I do

what they need to do is have a recovery bar. for example if you get hit with a big move say a powerbomb you cant get up in 3 seconds. you have to get that recovery bar up to at least green so you can try to fight back. i hate when you get slammed of a steel cage and 4 seconds later the guy gets up. also they need to have weight issues. like if im Rey Mysterio theres no way im gonna pick up the Big Show. they should put a weight limit like if weak wrestlers could only pick up a certain amount

I LOVE THis GAme And I bet I can play a match a 100 times better than this!! My fav 1 is THe Elimination chamber and I have lost Only 1 match so far IN 4 years!!

i have smackdown vs raw 2007 and i have to say here comes the pain beats the living shit out of it! svr 2007 is slower paced fighting and more boring! the stamina system prevents the game from being fast paced adrenaline action, the animation grapples look wonky, and having limited commentator commentating instead of arcade music in the backround ruins the overall intensity of the matches! plus the tables and chairs disappear when you keep using them! gay!

damn i wish i could make the next wrestling game cuz id make a mixture of svr2010 and smackdown hctp, id make them niggas fight really fast wit the grapples punches and everything the roster’d have like 85-87 ppl in it and the season be long again unlike gay ass 09 or 10 shit talk about realism THQ is stupid cuz in 2010 & 09 the weapons dissapear how in the hell is that realistic you tell me!

@flameguy714 yess thats the exact same thing i was thinkin. they added alot of cool things but took away alot of things 2. they should have kept it where we could accidentally fall off the cell and throw somebody off it with a move, they should have always left it where we could go and fight backstage in a hardcore match, they should have left every move that was on this game, left every match that was on this game like the triple threat tag ladder match, they just took alot away

The new games aren’t so good anymore.
They add many things that we wanted in the older games but they also take off many good things in the game like jumping off the ladder to outside the ring and the part when you can accidentally fall of the cell while doing a move…
Here Comes the Pain is the best in the series.
