machida is a shity fighter.. i`m glad shogun rua defeated him , but the judges defeated rua too, at rematch lyoto ” the boring ” machida will be killed

@naistradamus LOL def not a draw… sam did nothing to machida… watch the whole fight machida landed hard strikes making sam clinch or get KO’d then he takes him down mounts him and slipped off on the arm bar. Sam did nothing in this fight that would make it a draw lol

how do you think lyoto lost that fight. The first two rounds lyoto landed more shots to the head, took sam down, passed his guard with ease, and got to the mount postion. The only thing sam did was do a little ground and pound at the end, but he still couldnt even pass lyotos guard.

my dad > your dad… whatever… anyway, I just watched the fight for the 3rd time, scoring it for myself. it’s so close that i could argue both sides of it. meanwhile the rule is – when you’re challenging for the title, the burden to show dominance is on you, not on the title-holder. shogun failed to dominate decisively, and hence, lost. nobody robbed him. and u can’t compare shogun from 5 years ago on steroids to the clean shogun now. but yes, i also definitely look forward to the rematch.

Prime for prime Shogun > Machida.
Back in 2005 , the guy had to beat the likes of Rogerio , Arona , Overeem , Jackson to win the grand prix. And he recently also defeated Machida (too bad he was robbed). Guess we’ll have to see what happens in the rematch.
